Top 5 Loadouts in Black Ops 6

There are some fantastic weapons to use in Black Ops 6 multiplayer, but five loadouts stand out from the rest.

So far in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, we have seen a variety of weapons across several categories. While we still have yet to see the full offering of guns in BO6 multiplayer, the recent beta weekends presented terrific options that players know will be strong when the full release arrives on Oct. 25.

When the launch of BO6 does come, you’ll need to know what weapons to level up first so you can gain as much of an advantage as possible. Moreover, as you’re leveling up certain weapons, it’s important to understand which attachments are stronger on a gun’s loadout. Below, you can see our picks for the best overall loadouts in BO6. The loadouts aren’t in any particular order and some attachments do require a gun to be at a higher level.

1. Jackal PDW

  • Muzzle: Ported Compensator
  • Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
  • Magazine: Extended Mag I
  • Rear Grip: Ergonomic Grip
  • Stock: Balanced Stock

Let’s kick things off with the weapon that dominated both weekends of the beta in BO6. While the Jackal PDW submachine gun was nerfed, it still remains one of, if not the best weapon in the entirety of multiplayer. The recommended loadout for the Jackal PDW increases all of the important stats for the SMG, including mobility, damage range, and accuracy. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a better all-around loadout in BO6 than this one.

2. Tanto .22

  • Muzzle: Compensator
  • Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Ranger Foregrip
  • Rear Grip: Ergonomic Grip
  • Fire Mods: Rapid Fire

Another SMG entered the fray during the second weekend of the BO6 beta, and the Tanto .22 certainly left an impression during its short time in multiplayer. The slow-firing SMG is extremely lethal at all ranges as long as you’re accurate with your shots and patient enough to see your shots through. The most important attachment on the Tanto .22’s loadout is Rapid Fire, as you need that extra fire rate to keep up with other guns in BO6. The rest of the loadout boosts mobility, damage range, and accuracy.

3. AMES 85

  • Optic: Accu-Spot Reflex
  • Muzzle: Ported Compensator
  • Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Ranger Foregrip
  • Stock: Balanced Stock

There was some debate over the course of the beta weekends in BO6 over which of the three assault rifles was the best. While the XM4 and AK-74 are both strong in their own right, the AMES 85 felt like the most complete AR of the bunch. The recommended loadout for the rifle certainly helps its case as well, as accuracy and damage range are both heavily increased.

We decided not to opt for any mobility attachments, but you can add those with the Gunfighter Wildcard if you prefer. That gives you an extra three attachment slots to use on something like the Ergonomic Grip Rear Grip or Rapid Fire Fire Mod.

4. C9

  • Muzzle: Ported Compensator
  • Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Ranger Foregrip
  • Rear Grip: Ergonomic Grip
  • Stock: Balanced Stock

The C9 is the third and final SMG on this list, which is quite impressive seeing as there were only three SMGs usable in the beta. This loadout is extremely similar to the other SMG loadouts on this list, and it’s simply because the attachments work so well with one another. Mobility is the key stat increased on the loadout but damage range and accuracy are boosted as well to give the C9 a fighting chance at longer ranges.

5. XMG

COD Blops XMG

  • Muzzle: Suppressor
  • Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Crossbar
  • Rear Grip: Quickdraw Grip
  • Fire Mods: Rapid Fire

If you didn’t try out the XMG light machine gun in BO6, don’t worry, you aren’t alone. However, once you test out the loadout above, you might not want to use another weapon in multiplayer. This particular loadout for the XMG is a throwback to the Hades “Chainsaw” build from Black Ops 4. The focal point of the loadout is the Crossbar attachment, which makes the XMG a laser beam of a weapon. While you do lose the ability to aim down sights, that doesn’t matter, as all you need to do is point and shoot. The increased fire rate and damage range on the loadout paired with the Crossbar makes the XMG kill enemies instantly.

And that does it for the best overall loadouts in BO6 multiplayer. If you’re looking to make the most out of any loadout, make sure to pair a weapon with the right Perk Combat Specialty, which we went over in a previous guide.
