The Secret to Achieving Your Goals? More Gaming. (Seriously.)
See how gamers are achieving their 2025 resolutions.

We asked our community about their 2025 resolutions and what keeps them gaming. We thought it'd be fun to share what we learned—because who doesn't love some good gaming stats?
The Resolutions
We asked, and Game Better was the overwhelming top resolution (because of course). We're really proud of the 38.7% of gamers who aimed to get healthier — and actually stuck with it through January.
Meanwhile, Building Friendships was both the least popular resolution and the hardest to fulfill.

Why we play
Gamers told us why they play, and two motivations stood out: To Compete & To Unwind (so this is why gaming lobbies can't get along).
But here's the interesting bit — gamers who play for story had the highest success rate in achieving their resolutions. About 50% of story-driven gamers stuck with their goal!
So, next time you need a reliable teammate, pick the friend who can explain Destiny's lore in painful detail and still cries about Arthas.
Maybe cheer them up with something from our Destiny 2 Limited Edition Collection.

Gametime vs. Success
We compared weekly game time to resolution success, and the results were… unexpected.
Gamers who played the least (0-5 hours per week) and the most (10+ hours) hit their goals.
So, the official advice here is to:
Take more breaks, set limits, and balance your gaming time with healthy habits.Nah, obviously, the key to success in life is gaming marathons. Who knew?
And if you're going all-in, you might as well be comfortable while you do it: Shop Ergonomic Mice.
